Welcome to The Midcounties Co-operative funeralcare

Flowers, donations, notices & memorials

Floral Tributes

It is a long standing tradition in many communities that friends and family pay their respects by sending flowers. Your local Midcounties Co-operative funeral director can organise suitable floral tributes for you. We can arrange for their delivery to your home or directly to ourselves in readiness for the funeral.

Charitable Donations

In addition, or as an alternative tribute, you may prefer to arrange for donations to favourite charity. If so we can collect, record and distribute donations to charity on your behalf.

Notices

The obituary notice in a local, national or other publication announces the death and funeral details and can also become a tribute to the person who has died, by perhaps containing a verse. Some people like to place acknowledgement notices in the newspaper after the funeral, thanking people who have supported them. Your local Midcounties Co-operative funeral director can organise these notices for you.

Book of Remembrance

Some people also like to compile a book of compliments, reflections and memories about the person who has died, written by family and friends attending the service or afterwards. Again your local Midcounties Co-operative funeral director can make the necessary arrangements for you.

Your local Midcounties Co-operative funeral director can advise you and make the necessary arrangements for all of the above.

Memorials

You don't have to decide whether to put a memorial on the grave or on the site of the burial of Cremated Remains until after the funeral. The rules and regulations about what kind of memorial can be put up, and when, vary considerably from place to place. Your local Midcounties Co-operative funeral director can advise and help you select a memorial and make the necessary arrangements on your behalf. Please click here to visit our memorials page.
